Denise M. (D.M.) Causher

D.M. Causher possesses over two decades of experience in the fashion design industry. Prior to opening Elegance Boutique, where she now sells her custom-made designer clothing and accessories, D.M. served as a wardrobe consultant in the entertainment industry serving clients such as Curtis Mayfield, Black Uhuru and the Impressions. Additionally, she coordinated the renowned Ebony Fashion Fair, USA, served as a pattern-maker for Asoke International (Chicago, IL) and owned “Distinctive Artwear,” a designer retail boutique specializing in women’s clothing and accessories.

D.M. taught design for ten years at institutions including American Intercontinental University (Atlanta, GA), Columbia College (Chicago, IL), International Academy of Merchandising and Design (Chicago) and the Ray Vogue College of Design (Chicago) and holds degrees from the Art Institute of Chicago, Epsom College of Art and Design (London, England) and Northeast Surry College of Technology (London, England).
